Privacy Policy for StadiumPass

1. Information the app processes

StadiumPass processes information you enter or save, which may include stadium visits, dates and event types, ticket or seating details, favorite stadiums, a name displayed on your passport, and a homebase location you choose to save.

StadiumPass stores app information on your device. iCloud Sync is enabled by default on a fresh installation and can be turned off in the app’s sync settings. When it is enabled, app data is synced through Apple’s CloudKit service using your iCloud account.

StadiumPass does not send visit records to a developer-operated app server.

2. Location and maps

If you allow location access, StadiumPass uses your device’s location to show or center the map. The app does not use location to create a movement history or automatically record visits.

When the app loads stadium or road information for a map area, it sends the relevant map bounds and, in some requests, center coordinates to the OpenStreetMap Overpass API. When you search online for a stadium, the search term is sent to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service. These requests also disclose technical network information, such as your IP address, to the services receiving them.

Apple MapKit is also used for map display and related map services. Apple and the OpenStreetMap service operators process requests under their own policies.

3. Ticket scanning and generated text

If you choose to scan a ticket, StadiumPass accesses an image you take with the camera or select from your photo library. The app uses Apple Vision to recognize text and Apple’s on-device Foundation Model to help extract the stadium and date. This processing happens on your device; the ticket image and recognized text are not sent to a developer-operated server.

4. Sharing and exports

StadiumPass can create data exports and shareable passport content. These are prepared on your device. If you choose to share or save them using iOS, the destination you select receives the content under its own privacy practices.

5. Storage and deletion

Information remains in StadiumPass until you delete it or remove the app’s data. If iCloud Sync is enabled, synced information is also handled by Apple’s CloudKit service under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. You can turn off iCloud Sync in the app and use the app’s controls to delete records.

6. Service providers

StadiumPass uses Apple services, including MapKit, CloudKit, and the on-device Foundation Models framework, as well as OpenStreetMap services for online stadium and map searches. Those providers may process technical request information, including IP addresses and the map coordinates or search terms needed to return results. 7. Your choices and rights

You can deny or change location access in iOS Settings, turn off iCloud Sync in StadiumPass, and delete visit records using the app’s controls.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and to restrict or object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or complain to your data protection authority. Contact us using the details above to make a request.

8. Children

StadiumPass is not specifically designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review the request.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app or its data practices change. The latest version will be published at this URL with its updated date.
